5-Star Taj Exotica Resort and Spa Maldives

Taj Exotica Resort & Spa is set on an exclusive, private and romantic island of tropical plants, encircled by clear blue waters and is only 15 minutes by a private luxury speedboat, available 24 hours, from Malé International Airport.

At the luxury Maldivian resort the cuisine is outstanding; couples can experience gastronomic private dining in an intimate setting amidst the green jade trees or at a private spot on the beach.

For the most luxurious stay in the Maldives, stay at the Rehendi Presidential Suite. Seclusion-seeking couples can step from the suite onto a private 500 sq ft sand-deck, which stretches into the largest lagoon in the Maldives.  Guests can marvel at the ocean-life from their glass-walled bathroom.  With open-air salas for relaxing and dining, a 15 ft infinity pool and hammocks in which to sip cocktails, guests can romanticise in style and solitude. The suite has been re-modelled by the Singapore-based design firm James Park Associates. They have created elegant interiors, fittingly reflecting the name ‘Rehendi’, which translates as queen.

Set in a secluded location at the far end of the resort, the luxury Maldives resort’s Jiva Grand Spa offers a range of ayurveda treatments, Indian aromatherapy massages, body scrubs and wraps as well as dedicated detoxifying Indian ‘yoga retreats’ and ‘ayurveda journeys’ to cleanse and protect.  Guests staying at the hotel can experience Alepa, the exclusive signature spa treatment, in a specially appointed mud-treatment Spa Suite.   Alepa – literally the act of anointing the body – offers wellness and healing treatments drawn from sacred and ceremonial time-honoured Indian bathing rituals.  The treatment encompasses a shower, hammam, herbal mud application, an outdoor shower, soaking in the sun, a choice of indoor showers, relaxation with light herbal refreshments, and an optional massage.  Alepa may be experienced exclusively by a single guest or a couple.
