On the second day of Christmas: Join celebrations at Le Royal Monceau, Raffles Paris

The Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris will be warming taste buds in Il Carpaccio – the hotel’s Italian restaurant – with winter flavours of Italy, in a coming together of two iconic hotels. Il Carpaccio will play host to Matteo Temperini, head chef of restaurant La Sponda at Italy’s legendary hotel Le Sirenuse, in Positano. Chef Temperini will work alongside Chef Roberto Rispoli to create an innovative take on Neapolitan cuisine.

Similar to Il Carpaccio’s own gourmet Italian dishes, Temperini’s food starts with only the best fresh, seasonal produce, extending the range of Italian creativity in the kitchen. The partnership promises to be full of flavour, in an effortlessly sophisticated atmosphere. The star will be an exclusive four hands tasting menu, bringing all of the tastes of Amalfi at Christmas to the French capital.


On the third day of Christmas: Enjoy the sweetest time of year at The Grove Park Inn

Celebrate the holiday season with The Omni Grove Park Inn’s gingerbread holiday package. Surrounded by 80 themed trees, thousands of twinkling lights, gingerbread houses and roaring fireplaces, The Omni Grove Park Inn is perfect for a relaxing stay with some holiday flair. On the sixth day of Christmas: Spread holiday cheer at Gstaad Palace

A luxury alpine adventure awaits you in the Bernese Alps this holiday season at Gstaad Palace. Gstaad kicks off the season with Christmas trees decorating village squares and the start of Gstaad Mountain Rides featuring six independent ski regions including Glacier 3000 – the only glacial area in the Bernese Oberland to be open from November to the beginning of May. The region offers sledding, ice climbing, hiking, curling, husky sledges, carriage rides, ballooning and snow golf that can all be arranged by the resort. On the seventh day of Christmas: Have a holly jolly celebration at Palace Hotel Tokyo

In celebration of one of Japan’s most symbolic holidays, Palace Hotel Tokyo is pulling out all the stops for its guests. Beginning with a New Year countdown cocktail party, kicking off with live jazz at The Palace lounge on the evening of the December 31, guests and visitors alike will then enjoy a New Year’s Day dinner concert which will feature a special performance on the 20-string koto by the acclaimed Gayo Nakagaki, followed by music from a philharmonic orchestra with operatic accompaniment.

Guests staying in the hotel will also have the opportunity to observe and participate in hatsugama – the first tea ceremony of the new year and a ritual that is perhaps the most emblematic and skilful expression of Japanese hospitality.

On the eighth day of Christmas: Celebrate southwestern style at La Posada de Santa Fe

To get in the holiday spirit southwestern-style, head to La Posada de Santa Fe in Santa Fe, NM. Every December, the town’s rooftops and sidewalks glow with small paper lanterns called farolitos, and the aroma of piñon logs burning in kiva fireplaces fills the air. On the ninth day of Christmas: Partake in the season of giving at Hotel Vermont

Hotel Vermont has partnered with the Vermont Children’s hospital this holiday season for both staff and guests to give back to the local community. The lobby is decorated with local Christmas trees featuring ornaments by Green Mountain Crafts that are made from fallen trees in Vermont. The all-suite boutique Carlton Hotel, with the biggest penthouse suite in St Moritz and pop-up restaurant for the winter season is celebrating its 100th anniversary of its inaugural opening on Christmas 1913.

For foodies, Da Vittorio will open a pop-up restaurant at the hotel this winter season, led by the Cerea brothers. The Italian Cerea brothers have a three star Michelin restaurant in Bergamo, and will move to the mountains to create their spectacular and innovative cooking.

The hotel has its own bobsleigh on the world’s last remaining natural ice run in St. Moritz. For ultra-luxury and adrenaline there is also heliskiing, helicopter flights and snowmobiles.
