The 192-room hotel, which is the only five star hotel on the Champs-Elysées, is of architectural significance in its own right with its façade and its ornate gilded balconies, registered on the list of French historical monuments. The building was erected in 1914 by renowned luggage manufacturer Vuitton.
However, except for the original frontages onto the Champs-Elysées and the rue de Ponthieu at the rear, which have been carefully restored and renovated, the whole of the luxury Parisian hotel is the result of a new development carried out by architect Delaage-Tsaropoulos.
In addition, the hotel was voted one of the top 25 hotels in France and Monaco in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice award.
