Grand Hotel Tremezzo with enchanting views across Lake Como, Italy


Dating back to 1910 and Art Nouveau in style and decoration, the family owned Grand Hotel Tremezzo commands one of the most enchanting positions on Lake Como with spectacular panoramic views of both the town of Bellagio, the Riviera delle Azalee and the stunning Grigne Mountains.

The luxury Italian hotel has 97 rooms and suites, all of which offer breathtaking views of the lake or the hotel’s century-old 20,000 sqm park and gardens. The new sensational all-suite rooftop floor is ideal if you are looking to experience Lake Como in a special and unique style. It is comprised of eight lavishly-appointed suites all with their own private terrace and outdoor Jacuzzi which can also be covered and turned a bed, which enables you to star gaze from your own private balcony in your own bed – whilst taking in the spectacular view over the lake. The suites also have a butler service and have all been stylishly designed by the Italian designer, Venelli Kramer in collaboration with the de Santis family, the owners of the property. The fifth floor of the palace now includes three rooftop junior suites, three rooftop corner suites and two rooftop front suites which can all be combined together to create an impressive rooftop penthouse featuring up to eight bedrooms.

The luxury Italian hotel has three swimming pools: Water on the Water – a floating pool just in front of the private beach; Flowers Pool – a pool surrounded by its own delightful private gardens and T Spa Infinity Pool. You can also experience the best in fine dining at La Terrazza restaurant, with menus created by renowned Italian chef Gualtiero Marchesi. Alternatively, L’Escale Fondue & Wine Bar offers a more informal option for a dinner based on fondues and barbecues, or check out the T Pizza – set in the beautiful hotel gardens.
