Contemporary Villa Trapani, Sicily

Villa Trapani with its private swimming pool is situated not far from Trapani, a charming town in the west of Sicily that enchants visitors with its beautiful, lively old centre.

The luxury Sicilian villa is surrounded by the typical local carob plants, young olive groves, dwarf palm trees and by outstanding scenery: behind it stands the Erice mountain, in front of it the centre of Trapani and its salt pans, the sea and the Egadi islands.

Combining comfort and luxury with contemporary design, the luxury Sicilian villa delivers the ultimate residential quality. Beautiful marble floors and large window doors create an immediate impression of space and light, especially in the wonderful living area which opens onto the large terrace and onto the swimming pool.

Villa Trapani is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. A few kilometers away is Trapani with its narrow streets and alleys, squares, baroque buildings, cafés and good restaurants, and also the medieval village of Erice and the imposing temple of Segesta. Whereas on the route to Marsala, can be visited the charming salt pans with their windmills and the Stagnone reserve, an impressive lagoon with the island of Mothia.

In the last few years Trapani has been restored to its original, architectural splendour. Many of its cute streets are pedestrianised therefore its old town centre has become a real salon in the open air. Like Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the main road between the Chiesa dell’ Addolorata and Palazzo Senatorio, where there are magnificent baroque dwellings, and the Cattedrale di San Lorenzo with its crucifixion attributed to Antoine Van Dyck. This is a great place stop in one of the towns many cafés and restaurants after admiring the splendid palaces Cavaretta, Riccio di Morana and Lucatelli, and walking along the sea by the beautiful promenade on the Mura di Tramontana.
