UK-based interior designers Design Forum Interiors have completed the Revelstoke Mountain Resort project. Completed in 2012, the luxury ski chalet is located in Canada.
Bighorn Lodge is an incredible 16,000 sq ft timber-framed ski home located at the base of Revelstoke Mountain Resort, Canada, in the heart of the world’s best heliski terrain.
The luxury ski chalet has an impeccable bespoke design with high levels of detail and tailored super-luxe touches. According to the interior designers: “Honouring the brief of a ‘Scottish Hunting Lodge’ feel that was of utmost importance to the client. Each room was designed from scratch to achieve an enjoyable yet sophisticated interior with comfort and warmth at the forefront, whilst complementing their heritage.
“A visual feast for the eyes, rooms in the luxury ski chalet are adorned with an intelligent use of natural materials, sumptuous fabrics and textured wallpapers in rich tartans and tweeds that inject an individual touch of vibrance with a lively punch of colour. Many of the furniture pieces, intriguing lighting and artwork throughout the 8-bedroom property are totally custom-made and designed to work in harmony with existing flooring and cabinetry.”
