Enclosed by glorious natural wildlife, the Ocean Guest House is stunning in its sophisticated simplicity and minimalistic nature, with the architect keen to develop a clean, urbane, modern and uncomplicated home that is efficient and charming in every sense. The hedge surrounding the home provides the bulk of the beautiful aspect of nature, while the open, green garden is well-kept and delightful. The graveled pathway leading to the guest homes entrance offers a further attraction to this home; blurring the lines between traditional and modern modes and creating a spectacular architectural combination.
The design of the home itself is geared towards efficiently combatting natural elements in terms of weather. The architects have cleverly adapted one side of the exterior with this in mind, ensuring that it is smooth, sturdy and stretched along the perimeter of the home so as to create a highly-effective barrier of sorts. The use of the colours of black and white here generates another cunning combination, juxtaposing the two opposite colours to provide stunning results.
