Modern Kingwood Gardens homes unveiled in Aldgate, London

UK-based property developer, Berkeley Homes (NEL), has unveiled the Kingwood Gardens project. The stylish homes are located in Goodman’s Fields in Aldgate, London.

The luxury London apartments are located within a 22-storey tower, adjoining the largest part of the development’s two acres of parks and open spaces, Kingwood Gardens includes 95 new studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, all of which have balconies, winter gardens and terraces. The tower stands prominently against the backdrop of London’s skyline and offers spectacular views towards Canary Wharf and beyond it to historic Greenwich.

The interior design at Kingwood Gardens were designed by Scott Brownrigg, the award-winning international design practice. Established in 1910, Scott Brownrigg has worked at some of London’s most sought-after addresses, creating relaxing and contemporary spaces that lend themselves to entertaining.

Each of the apartments at Kingwood Gardens is fitted with engineered oak flooring and underfloor heating, and includes a Poggenpohl kitchen with Siemens appliances, coffee machine and wine cooler. The bedrooms are a haven of comfort and practicality, with an impressive level of attention to detail given to the fitted wardrobes which have integrated sensor lighting – and some rooms also include a spacious dressing area.

Located in the City’s premium residential district, Goodman’s Fields will provide over 920 homes, three new urban squares, a central piazza with high-end shops, restaurants, bars and cafés and a luxury hotel as well as access to over two acres of parks and open spaces.

The architecture at Goodman’s Fields was inspired by the romantic towers of San Gimignano in Tuscany. The six new slender towers, designed by award-winning architects Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands as a 21-st-century version of the ancient Italian landmarks, are arranged around a central piazza and amongst beautifully landscaped gardens. Beacons of innovative architecture, they are transformed at night by attractive inner and outer lighting which brings this new quarter, a ‘gateway to the City’, to life.

Set in the largest part of the two acres at Goodman’s Fields, this is a tranquil retreat from the pace of the city. The public space, which connects the development with the surrounding neighbourhood, has been designed by acclaimed landscape architects Murdoch Wickham, and is adorned with public art and water features, further enhancing the sense of place.

In addition to the beautiful gardens, residents will have access to a range of five-star hotel-quality facilities, exclusive to owners at the development. These include a luxury health club with a heated indoor swimming pool and spa, a private cinema, a business lounge, a 24-hour concierge and a modern gym overlooking the landscaped boulevard walkways. In addition, The Pastry Parlour, situated in the main plaza at Goodman’s Fields, provides the perfect spot for a morning coffee on the way to work or a light lunch at the weekends.

Residents at Goodman’s Fields will live amongst some of the Capital’s most fashionable areas such as Brick Lane, Shoreditch High Street and Spitalfields Market whilst popular art gallery the Whitechapel Gallery, Michelin starred restaurants like Galvin La Chapelle and high-end shops like those at The Royal Exchange are also close by.

First completions are scheduled for Q3/Q4 2017. For more information and prices, visit
