Fit for a king the luxurious Siam Kempinski, Thailand

Hidden discreetly behind one of Bangkok’s largest shopping-and-entertainment complexes, Kempinski’s first hotel in Thailand has become a byword for elegance and glamour in the vibrant heart of the city.

The Siam Kempinski hotel has 303 rooms and lavish suites, there are also 98 serviced apartments for guests who wish to stay that bit longer. Designed by Tandem Architects, with Hirsch Bedner Associates contributing to the interior design.

Unique to Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok are eleven duplex suites, and 10 cabana rooms. All these rooms offer guests direct access to the garden, and are only a couple of steps from the private terraces and the swimming pools. All rooms are equipped with everything you would expect in a five-star international hotel.

A first for a five-star city resort in Bangkok is the 11 duplex suite, split level living  cosseted in the latest high-tech comfort and convenience. Ranging from 75 to 110 square metres and located in the Garden Wing, the duplex suites are some of the most sought after hotel accommodations in Thailand.

One of the largest private suites in Bangkok at 300 square metres is the Royal Suite, it also has a secluded 120 square metre terrace complete with Jacuzzi. Located on the 16th floor of the Royal Wing, the suite includes a master bedroom, two additional bedrooms one which could be used for personal staff or security. The Royal Suite includes a spacious living room, separate dining room, private bar, private gym, study and kitchenette.

The hotel‘s three fine-dining restaurants include Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, where renowned chef Henrik Yde Anderson from Copenhagen serves gastronomic versions of Thai cuisine, with scented smoke used to recreate the atmosphere of a local street market.

A buffet breakfast is served in the gardens amidst palm trees and fountains and also in the exclusive Executive Lounge on the 17th floor. Attracting a well-heeled crowd, the hotel is just a short walk from the restaurants, shops and hustle and bustle of walkway-linked luxury shopping malls. The luxury hotel even has direct access to the BTS Skytrain, making traffic-free travel across the city possible or you may fancy the private BMW 7-series limousine service, the choice is yours.

You can also find the Siam Kempinski exhibiting at the Luxury Travel Fair in November, at London’s Olympia.
