Contemporary interior design of a chic apartment in Milan

Milan based architects and interior designers, Paolo Frello, have designed the Apartment Biancamaria project. The contemporary apartment offers a stylish but quirky interior design and can be found  in Milan, Italy.

The contemporary apartment boasts a selection of designer furniture and modern art.  The architecture and inlaid parquet flooring dates back more than 900 years, and has been arranged in a refined stylistic dialogue and is full of character.

According to the designer: “The layout of the of 230 sqm property has been left intact and provides plenty of living spaces  for a compact apartment. The entrance leads to a corridor that distributes access to the various environments of the living area, divided into several autonomous spaces and, through a door, divided into two areas: one dedicated to local service (which is separate) and those for conviviality. The large living room faces the dining room and is directly connected to the reading corner with bookshelf and TV, in a fluid path which then leads to the sleeping area. To this permeability between the various choices correspond interior design flexible choices, with modern design pieces that perfectly integrate into the architectural volume of the classical structure.”
