Broadbeach-based architectural practice, BGD Architects, have designed the Gallie’s House project. The contemporary home is located in Brighton Parade, Southport, Australia.
The contemporary home was designed for a growing family. To suit four boys – each with their own bedroom, one en-suite and one large bathroom, plus a kids’ space.
The property boasts a formal living room with fireplace and informal spaces such as a sports and entertaining/media room, large laundry with lockers near kitchen, front of house and working kitchen, loads of circulation and extra fridge space (important for a growing family), home office/library and a large basement garage.
The property surrounds a stunning pool and internal courtyard that is ideal for entertaining. There is also plenty of space for a BBQ.
Large doors allow in breezes from every direction and louvers also benefit with Crimsafe.
The interior design of the home is contemporary, bright and airy. The design of the property really takes into account the needs of a growing family in an Australian climate.
