A trendy hotel in Amsterdam that comes with its own marina
Amsterdam the Dutch capital of cool with its miles of canals, historic streets, museums and bustling cafes and bars welcomed the trendy Rome Mate Aitana hotel this month.
The contemporary Spanish design hotel chain, founded by Spanish entrepreneur Kike Sarasola, boasts 283 chic rooms, its own marina and is located on a new artificial island a stone’s throw from Dam’s Square.
The trendy Amsterdam hotel bears the signature look of Dutch architect Jan Bakers and Spanish interior designer, Tomas Alia.
Rooms come as standard, twin, or thematic – choose from bicycle, ceramic or graffiti. There are also junior suites and long stay suites for extra luxury, which ooze contemporary chic.
Modern art, contemporary lighting and floor-to-ceiling glass windows make the hotel’s lounge extremely inviting and a great place to enjoy a tipple. It’s a perfect spot to Instagram images of the views to family and friends courtesy of complimentary WiFi.
The Amsterdam hotel’s philosophy is that the best way to travel is by visiting friends who can convey their local knowledge and personal experiences of their homes. So each guest at the contemporary Amsterdam hotel is seen as more than just a customer and the rooms reflect genuine characteristics of a true host.
