Stunning boutique hotel, perched on a hill – XV Beacon hotel

Situated in a 1903 Beaux Arts Building that unites modern technology with Jeffersonian style, XV Beacon is centrally located and ideal for business and leisure travellers.

The luxury Boston hotel is set in a historic neighbourhood with quaint brick pavements, authentic federal and Greek revival row houses and evocative gas-lit streets. It is just steps away from the gold-domed Statehouse, legendary Boston Common and Public Garden and just a few blocks from Faneuil Hall, Quincy Marketplace and the famed shopping of Newbury Street.

The 63-room hotel boasts spacious guestrooms. Every room has a gas fireplace and many of the rooms benefit from four-poster or canopy beds with cashmere throws and Frette linen. The Bromfield one bedroom suites include a separate parlor area with table to accommodate up to 12 people. The Gilbert Stuart suite has two bedrooms and comes with a separate seating area, a boardroom table accommodating up to 12 people and three bathrooms. All rooms have an entrance from the hallway and overlook Beacon Street.

Antiques and modern art continue the theme of bringing the historical past into the future and the classic but contemporary décor bears this out. One of the most unique elements of the hotel is the artwork including works by some of America’s most renowned artists that can be found on the walls.

The hotel restaurant, Mooo, is a modern steakhouse with an award-winning wine list. The chef uses his culinary expertise to create classic, yet inventive steakhouse dishes and has garnered rave reviews for these.

The boutique hotel also offers complimentary in-town Lexus service, complimentary Wi-Fi, iPad rentals, Puravair air purifiers for hypo-allergenic rooms, Nespresso machines upon request, complimentary bath salts for use in the Jacuzzi baths, heated towel rails and 24-hour room service – what more could you want?
