Stylish new Conran shop opens in Marylebone, London

British furniture, lighting and home accessories store, The Conran Shop, has revealed its redesigned Marylebone store, presenting a new retail concept that is set to position the store as a one-stop destination for contemporary living.

Since opening his first store in 1973, Sir Terence Conran has transformed his business into a design empire with worldwide stores reaching from Paris to Tokyo.

The newly relaunched Conran Shop Marylebone spans across three floors, all reorganised, re-edited and rejuvenated making it a great destination for contemporary home living.

On the top floor, The Ultimate Conran Apartment is flooded with natural light and features furniture, original art and exclusive objects of desire in a unique Conran edit.

Vintage furniture sits alongside contemporary design classics including pieces by Charlotte Perriand, Eames and Paola Navone. Architectural pendant lights hang over 1950s oak tables from the South of France and a spectacular cased langoustine sits on top of a 1960s Dutch dresser.

Throughout the floor beautiful lighting displays, art and carefully chosen ceramics and glass vases reveal a vision of how an idealised Conran apartment would look.

On the ground floor the newly introduced Conran Kitchen offers exclusive coffee roasts and delicious sandwiches created using the finest ingredients. The Conran flower stall sells fresh bouquets and selections created daily in store.

Also on the ground floor is a vibrant children’s shop, gift section, E-Tech, music and fragrances and candles. The second floor features a market feel for the kitchen shop with more than ten elegant table settings providing inspiration for dining along with a lighting section and textiles department.
