Luxurious Australian House by SJB Architects

Shoreham House, on Australia’s Mornington Peninsula, was designed by SJB Architects and is a vast, spacious residence which permits as much freedom as desired.

Situated on a stunning site overlooking Westernport Bay, this house tackles the conflict of boundaries by incorporating an open dining area, perfect for warm days or cool evenings. The house is also perfectly constructed so as to provide shelter, shade and relief from the unpredictable coastal patterns; lavish yet efficient architecture. Along with this, its brief was to deliver a residence fit for family life, something that has been more than achieved.

The houses exterior continues to impress, as a large swimming pool terrace and expansive outdoor leisure zones are afforded to attest to the fact that the client’s comfort, relaxation and health is of utmost importance. Luxury is still preserved however, as the house grabs attention against a backdrop of natural colours with its sleek, accomplished finish.

Along with the previously mentioned open dining area, there is also an open living and leisure space to emphasise the freedom this house brings. Privacy is permitted when needed in the closed, luxurious and contemporary interior. The furnishings are similarly plush and simply add to the contemporary feel of a remarkable house.
