Chic Collector’s Loft, Texas
This chic loft was designed by Texas-based design studio Poteet Architects. The loft was designed for an artist and can be found in downtown San Antonio, Texas.
The ultra-chic loft occupies the top two floors and the roof of a 1920s factory in San Antonio. The main living spaces can be found on the first floor, long skyline shafts and inset porches help flood light into the chic building. The second floor includes a black box theater for video art and a soaring 18’ tall gallery created by cutting away the existing concrete structure. The rooftop gardens are landscaped and the raised volume of the long gallery, clad in corten, is a fabulous space for entertaining.
The contemporary loft also contains common areas that include a gym, gallery space, and underground parking. The exterior of the building was also given a much needed facelift, with courtyards and gardens as well as balconies and porches newly made from steel and concrete.
