A Princely House, London

Princes Mews is the most fantastic contemporary property designed by award-winning London-based  architectural practice Paper Project Architecture and Design. Completed in 2012, the stunning bespoke property is located close to Kensington Gardens, London.

The luxury London property has been completely rebuilt with the addition of two extra layers to incorporate a basement kitchen and a top floor master bedroom suite. To introduce maximum natural light throughout, in particular in the basement, large glass skylights in the roof have been installed over a glass cantilevered staircase, thus allowing the light to fall through the house from top to bottom. A further effect of the glass stair design is to pull together the floors in an open plan, integrated manner allowing the house to be free flowing and airy.

The contemporary London house is fully comprehensive as to be expected from a scheme of this level, with under-floor heating and speakers throughout, Danish wood flooring, a German manufactured kitchen, high tech appliances, security and intelligent lighting. This is a property with a serious wow factor combining unbelievable attention to detail, precision and style.”
