Chic, contemporary and luxurious – Egerton Gardens, London

British boutique properties agency London Central Portfolio have refurbished the Egerton Gardens project. The stunning contemporary property can be found in London, England.

Situated in a sought-after traditional red brick building, this small but characterful flat has been completely modernised.  The design focused on optimising the available space and aiming for a highly contemporary look.  Whilst minimalistic in design, dramatic features and accents were added to all of the rooms, helping the property stand out from other rental accommodation.  Whilst stylish in appearance, it needed to be functional – with hardwood floors, slatted blinds and durable furniture.

The reception room and kitchen have been opened up, augmenting the sense of space. Whilst fire regulations cause concern during the refurbishment, an innovative concealed fire curtain was incorporated, eradicating the need for an additional door, which would constrict the available space.

Adelto loves how the study draws on the green tones in both its furniture and feature wall while the large mirrored cupboards reflect light, enhancing the space.

The bedrooms, on the other hand, make use of the darker colour on their feature walls. This provides a sense of warmth and stylish comfort for the globetrotting tenant.

The master bedroom is a particular point of drama in the flat with its stunning four poster bed broken up with red and black cushions. Whilst the red deviates from the flats overall colour scheme, to make the room stand out, it is counterbalanced with slate tones and coordinates well with the green theme, providing a design flow and unity through the contemporary London property.

The bathrooms and kitchen make use of smooth, clean lines which utilise the usable space without overcrowding. Once again, built in mirrored cupboards feature (as they do throughout the flat) increasing light and space. Drama is once more added, with free standing baths and striking mosaic tiles complementing the overall contemporary interior design but playing to the look of a cosmopolitan boutique hotel.
