The Luxury Riad Farnatchi Hotel, Marrakech, Morocco

Riad Farnatchi is a luxury Moroccan hotel located in the oldest part of Marrakech, Riad Farnatchi is a stunning but slick hideaway offering a perfect balance of luxury and tradition.

The 9 Suites, three with private roof terraces and another 4 with private balconies or patios, are uniquely decorated and feature handmade beds with Egyptian cotton sheets, while the bbq roof terrace with sun lounge and the heated pool and hammam are the place to relax and enjoy.

The luxury Moroccan hotel is a great place to spend a long weekend shopping in the souks followed by an invigorating gommage in the Hammam or massage by one of their excellent therapists.

Farnatchi was converted by the current owner’s father, an award winning British hotelier, who spent two years turning the first three riads into a holiday home for his friends and family. He only decided to change it to its current use when he realised that his commitments elsewhere were going to mean that the house would have lain empty for long periods. Riad Farnatchi now has the feel of a beautiful, highly individual, private house, but the facilities of a world class 5 star ’boutique’ hotel.

Quite uniquely, almost every piece of furniture has been specially designed and made for Riad Farnatchi in Marrakech. The interior design reflects a fascinating fusion of traditional Moroccan and modern European design. It is unmistakably Moroccan and exotic whilst being supremely comfortable and practical.

The luxury Moroccan hotel is considered one of the best luxury hotels in Marrakech, according to Conde Nast Traveller.
