The Luxury Niyama Retreat Resort, Maldives

Water babies can choose from the expansive water studios or deluxe water studios, both offering private pools, stunning views of the vast Indian Ocean, spacious living areas and the latest in entertainment technology. For the ultimate treat, the water pavilions with private pool are available with one or two bedrooms complete with private Thakuru.

The luxury Maldivian island will challenge the conventional with its culinary exhibitionism, leading guests on a gastronomic adventure starting at Epicure for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with take-away options from the international gourmet deli. Unwind at Fahrenheit, watching the Maldivian sunset from the rooftop with a glass of your favourite drink in hand. Tribal, designed as a modern day campsite with culinary offerings influenced by the cuisines of South and East Africa, the Middle East, Asia and South America.

Built 500 metres offshore, Niyams’s signature restaurant and lounge appears to float on the surface of the Indian Ocean and is only be accessible by boat. Eight metres below, is the the world’s first underwater club.

A first in the Maldives is the 24 hour Lime Spa. Treatments utilise and infuse indigenous holistic components from around the globe to create unique experiences.  This includes a contemplation garden and Quench, the juice bar. Each of these areas are designed to heighten guests’ relaxation, allowing them to enjoy the tranquillity and space around them.
