The luxury Porto San Rocco Marina, Italy

Situated in the bay of Trieste, on the north coast of Italy, Porto San Rocco Marina is a world-class marina offering much needed superyacht berthing at the gateway to the Adriatic Sea and the Croatian coast.

With the historic city of Muggia a short stroll away, the luxury marina is within striking distance of the city of Trieste as well as the ski resorts of the Italian Alps. The beautiful, rocky coastline is flanked by clear waters, and dotted with secluded lagoons and long, empty beaches.

Cruising the coast offers the best vantage point for seeing the elegant nineteenth century buildings of Trieste – from the Teatro Verdi, to the Palazzo Carciotti and the Canal Grande that runs inland from the sea to the centre of the city. With an increasingly important calendar of sailing events, including the famous Barcolana, where amateur and professional teams compete in challenging conditions.

Berthing facilities for yacht owners include 546 berths for yachts from 8m to 60m LOA, with 12 berths for yachts over 30m. This luxury Italian marina provides visitors and berth holders with outstanding facilities including a shore side swimming pool.

The marina is home to a sailing school, chandlery, shops, a beauty centre, a restaurant and bars. Duty-free fuel is also available to yachts berthing at Porto San Rocco if crossing the border within 8 hours.

Adelto loves this marina as it’s “The ideal location for cruising the Istrian and Dalmatian coast from Italy.”

You can also stay at the Hotel San Roco inside the marina with special rate for marina guests. The luxury marina is a member of Camper & Nicholson Marinas.
