The Living Project, Mexico City

A-001 Taller de Arquitectura is a Mexico City-based design studio. They have just designed the Refurbished Living project. The three-storey contemporary home is located in Mexico City, Mexico.

According to the architects: “Refurbished Living transforms the soul of a home: undresses it of its old history and dresses it up with new possibilities.

A home remembers – its walls are full of  memories and history, in its structure, the daily life of a group of people. Refurbished Living analyses every space of an inhabited home, studies its potential and opens up a range of possibilities for its transformation.

“The surface of this city is ending, and requires building in the land of imagination. The contemporary Mexican property is a mode of word, and a commitment to exploit every space of the urban mark. It’s an alternative of vertical construction and a commitment with sustainable construction, able to recycle limited resources and prepare them for new experiences.” Images courtesy of Eduardo Gorozpe, Santiago Arnau.
