Luxury Harrod’s Court apartment by Anna-Grace Davidson

London-based international interior designer, Anna-Grace Davidson, has designed the Harrod’s Court project. Completed in 2013, the luxurious apartment can be found in London, England.

Anna’s most recent residential project in West London exhibits her calm and luxurious approach to home design. Her elegant style flows throughout the property, which features sumptuous textures, dramatic lighting and splashes of colour, giving this neutral scheme a real ‘wow’ factor.

The designer oversaw the design from concept through to the completion; working closely with the property owners to deliver a tailored design to suit every aspect of their lifestyle at home. In this scheme Dodonova uses beautiful centrepieces and personally sourced quality furniture, to make the London apartment ooze high-octane glamour and style.

Living Space

The living space is flooded with beautiful neutral tones and quality textures. Character has been introduced to the interior design through bold accessories in the shelves and a dramatic sculpture in the centre of the room. The brown leather upholstered central table and side table contrasts the softer textured light sofa and it also brings out the darker shades in the room. The sofa, from Fendi’s contemporary collection, is practical and comfortable and the neutral thick curtains and rug gives the room a cosy and light feel. The custom made TV and fireplace unit is made with finishes such as leather, wood and matt lacquer giving it that extra glam feeling.

Kitchen and Dining Room

The kitchen space was very narrow, so the designer had to make the most of the space to ensure there was ample food preparation, cooking and storage areas. A feature wall was created at the back of room to add character and individuality. The dining area, which is part of the open-plan living area, features a stunning dark marble table and a show-stopping chandelier.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is light filled and spacious despite the sloped roof. The bespoke built-in wardrobe fits in seamlessly, and blends beautifully with the room colour scheme. To retain a contemporary feel in the apartment, Dodonova used symmetry and sleek gloss finishes on specific items of furniture in keeping with modern luxury style. “We’ve created understated drama by adding a beautiful mirror by Reflex decorated with handmade engravings of clear Murano glass,” says Dodonova.

Bathroom and dressing room

To make the most of the space Dodonova designed a bathroom and dressing room combo, which is part of the master bedroom suite. “We used luxurious marble and high quality joinery in muted colours,” she adds.

Second Bedroom

“We had a lot of fun designing this room and wanted it to have a sense of playfulness with the furniture and objects whilst maintaining a luxurious continuity throughout the apartment,” says Dodonova. She has introduced a blue floor lamp by Baxter and Abatjour and some modern seating to give the room a youthful feel.
