Residence in Belo Horizonte by Anastasia Architects

This house, a 370 square meter residence located in a mainly suburban area in Belo Horizonte, Brazil was designed by Anastasia Architects and is distributed on two levels. This decision was made to properly utilise the huge area of land to their disposal, creating this contemporary home which uses the simplicity of rectangular and box-like shapes to great effect.

The houses exterior is a deluge of natural colours; brown, grey and green immediately strike the eye. The architect’s Brazilian roots seep out here, as the concrete surface on the outside ensures that the home is in keeping with the residential areas established scene.

The interior is every bit as spacious as the huge allowance of area allows it to be. While the palm trees on the outside allude to paradise, the interior follows suit. The rectangular theme is continued throughout the house – even the furnishings. Due to the nature of the houses construction, natural light is extremely common, as is a cool breeze from the street it is situated on.

Suffice to say, this residence certainly looks the part. An accurate yet luxurious take on the suburban scene of Brazil, this Belo Horizonte property is spacious, contemporary and sleek.
