Red Hill Residence by David Luck Architecture

South Yarra-based studio David Luck Architecture has designed the Red Hill Residence project, completed in 2002. This modern weekend retreat is located on the Victorian Mornington Peninsula, a peninsula located south-east of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. As a result, it provides beautiful panoramic views of the Australian scenery, while offering a gorgeous, natural, calming slant of relaxing, luxurious living.

The home itself is surrounded by wonderful wildlife; trees, bushes and grass encase the home, which provides a gorgeous natural aspect to this modern residence. The architect takes this into account, using mainly wood in a refined palette of materials, which enhances a homely, welcoming sense of living. The trees ensure that not too much sun is exposed to this house, but just enough is provided for a beautiful effect.

The interior of the home is efficient, sleek, shiny, modern and luxurious. State-of-the-art fittings and appliances compliment the comfortable furnishings, ensuring that life is as easy, relaxing and calming as possible, fitting the brief of a weekend retreat perfectly.

With gorgeous views, stunning wildlife, a natural, beautiful exterior and a refined, sophisticated interior, the Red Hill Residence project really is amongst the highest echelon of architecture its kind.
