Oslo chair: A stylish and contemporary chair by Missana

Valencia-based architects and interior designers, Masquespacio, have led the art direction for a project for upholstery company Missana. The project consisted of designing an exhibition space and selection of fabrics and textures for the Valencian brand’s new Oslo chair as part of their new ‘the novelties’ collection.

According to the designers: “After the celebration of the crazy twenties with their ‘the twenties’ collection, this new proposal from Missana called ‘the novelties aims to present a new more vanguard and contemporary collection. Besides ‘the novelties’ only seeks to offer products 100 per cent designed by emergent internal and external designere.”

The contemporary Oslo chair with its Mediterranean freshness and Nordic functionality is the first product designed by Studio Missana.

The Oslo chair is accompanied by the Valentino bench, which is available in five different coloured cushions to create a funky contrast, adaptable to each individual taste.

Besides being in charge of the art direction from the exhibition spaces and selection of textures, Masquespacio also commissioned  young emergent designers who will launch their contemporary designs for Missana in the upcoming months.
