Modernist inspired California House, Melbourne, Australia

Victoria-based architectural practices InForm and Pleysier Perkins have design the California House project.  The four-bedroom family home is located in Brighton, Melbourne, Australia.

This four-bedroom Australian home spearheads the latest range of high-end homes for architects and builders InForm. The luxury home is characterised by strong external soffit branding and a low lying grounded profile, the contemporary home utilises careful delineation of glazing and timber panelled sections to integrate the indoors and outdoors.

The interior design of this home is modern, fresh and vibrant. The property would suit a growing family.

According to the architects: “This modernist inspired design incorporating deep horizontal roof planes and extensive glazing is perfectly suited to the Australian lifestyle and climate. The lower roof extends beyond the living space creating a large loggia with fireplace or barbeque. The upper floor accommodates a master domain and three other bedrooms.”
