London-based international interior designer Kelly Hoppen has worked with Yoo, the über-trendy design company formed by property mogul John Hitchcox and French designer Philippe Starck to create Lodha Estrella, a stunning 55-storey tower in Mumbai’s upcoming new lifestyle district, New Cuffe Parade.
This luxury development offers residents and their guests the benefits of the New Cuffe Parade location, spread over 23 acres with access to the area’s first Art & Culture Centre, along with the surrounding swimming pools, gardens and luxurious 75,000 square-foot club house, the largest of its kind in India.
Residents at Lodha Estrella will enjoy a pampered celebrity lifestyle through concierge services by Les Concierge, Warren Tricomi Salon, 321 Fitness Studio by Ramona Braganza, dance instructions by Sandip Soparkar, and for the children, speech and drama classes provided by Raell Padamsee’s Academy for Creative Expression (ACE).
Kelly unveiled the show apartment with its refined and sumptuous living space characterised by strong contrasts of luxurious materials in the Yoo’s Urban design concepts. Spaces in Lodha Estrella draw on Kelly’s intuitive approach to interiors and desire to create ‘zen’ like spaces, reflective in a rigorous use of a grid system to analyse space, delineate vistas, impose structure and establish order.
The luxurious tower includes a range of lavish two and three bedroom designer residences, and select penthouses and duplexes. Lodha Estrella also offers for the first time Kelly Hoppen designer studios to cater to the needs of a niche urban demographic looking for high quality lifestyle, state of the art amenities and exceptional connectivity to the city’s business hubs.
