Luxury Du Parc Kempinski Private Residences, Switzerland
Do you dream of haute couture living in the Swiss mountains? Well now you can stop dreaming, Du Parc Kempinski Private Residences have launched their show apartment and announce Candy & Candy as base build designer of their prestigious penthouse.
The immaculately restored Belle Epoque mansion of Du Parc Kempinski Private Residences, marks the result of an intricate restoration project undertaken by luxury lifestyle developers Swiss Development Group and architects Bronnimann & Gottreux and Group H. Situated overlooking Lac Leman, in the quintessential Swiss village of Mont Pèlerin, Du Parc is set to epitomise luxury Swiss living in its truest form.
SDG’s appreciation of Du Parc’s unique address, represents a subtle reimagining of the regal structure whose facades resonate several decades of history. Inside, meanwhile, formerly neglected rooms that once played host to an array of vaunted guests are coming back to life in the form of 22 grandiose apartments.
Interior design and decoration is underway by internationally acclaimed designers BBG-BBGM, made famous by their work with W Hotels and the St Regis Palace in New York. BBG-BBGM have closely examined the space, light and volume of the apartments so as to achieve finishes and interiors that accurately compliment the rich history of the property. Every care has been taken to preserve original fixtures and fittings from spiraling banisters to exquisite cornicing with bespoke nuances of interior design creating a sense of haute couture. High specification kitchen appliances are supplied by Gaggenau for TEK Cuisine whilst EDSA will be taking care of the landscape architecture and design.
Maintaining its ethos of partnering with the very best in luxury, SDG has named renowned design house Candy & Candy as the base build designer of the Du Parc penthouse space. The dynamic and innovative design house, whose philosophy is driven by the pursuit of perfection, will bring a vast amount of expertise to the project thanks to its work on some of the world’s most prestigious penthouses: One Hyde Park, London, The Plaza, New York and La Belle Époque, Monaco. Nick Candy, CEO of Candy & Candy said: “With over 20 live design projects around the world, Du Parc is Candy & Candy’s first design commission in Switzerland, and we are delighted to be involved with such a prestigious project.”
