Villa Ombak is a stunning contemporary villa built by The Hideaways Club, and scenes from ‘Eat, Pray, Love’, starring Julia Roberts, were filmed here.

The luxury villa sits high on a cliff top, overlooking the ocean, on the beautiful island of Nusa Lembongan, off the southeast coast of Bali, Indonesia.

The magnificent four-bedroom villa reflects the Balinese tradition of indoor-outdoor living: the living room leads onto a covered dining sala and there are huge floor to ceiling windows and vaulted ceilings.

All the bedrooms boast stunning sea views. And there’s no compromise on modern living, as the villa has a modern kitchen and home entertainment system. Interior design is simple beach-house style, featuring twig side tables, limed-wood furniture, striped sofas and sea related artwork, with stone tiled or wood floors throughout.

The landscaped gardens stretch to the cliff top, including a stylish pool with wooden decking, a cliff-top gazebo, a cool fire pit with seating and a separate massage sala.

The villa is a 45 minute boat ride from Bali and 120 minutes transfer from Denpasar International Airport.

Villa Ombak is one of The Hideaways Club’s global collection of luxury homes, all worth £1.2 million+.  The Hideaways Club is a foreign property ownership scheme whereby members buy into one of the club’s funds, investing in a portfolio of properties across the globe and also join an exclusive lifestyle club, enabling you to holiday in the properties owned by the fund. It is perfect for those who want holidays in different locations without the hassle of maintaining a foreign property. A concierge service can help organise transfers, dinner reservations and sight-seeing at the chosen destinations.

Villa Ombak is one of 42 homes owned by club’s classic fund, which typically sleep 8-10; a further 250 luxury villas are also available through reciprocal agreements with other destination clubs.
