Lie-back in an 18th century Luxury Palazzo, Italy

The luxurious Palazzo Gorgoni is a newly restored 18th century Palazzo in the heart of the lovely Baroque town of Galatina on the Salento Peninsula of Puglia.

Complete with great features such as a gym, sauna and chromotherapy shower, the building’s original charm has been complemented with contemporary art, furniture and an outdoor space lovingly designed with absolute luxury in mind.

From the moment you step into the ornamental courtyard, you will be wowed by the elegant features and sophisticated furnishings of the luxury Italian villa. The ground floor comprises two dining rooms, a lemon tree shaded courtyard, a slick-steel kitchen and a relaxation and wellness area, featuring fitness facilities and a communal bathtub. A peaceful inner courtyard features a pool complete with a hydromassage corner.

An impressive imperial staircase leads to the main body of the first floor and terrace, off which four of the eight luxuriously appointed bedrooms reside. On the first floor sits the large master en-suite bedroom with views over the pool and courtyard. A flight of stairs leads up to the seventh bedroom.

A second flight of stairs leads to a large panoramic roof terrace, offering a shady pergola and Bedouin-inspired lounge area. Accessible, yet hidden away, from the terrace is the eighth bedroom with yet another stunning en-suite bathroom.

The luxury Italian villa sleeps 16 guests in eight bedrooms, all en-suite, and is perfect for a group looking to stay in lavish surroundings in a charming corner of Italy that has remained virtually intact over the centuries.
