Dark and dramatic design at Print Avenue, Barcelona

Barcelona-based interior designers, Egue y Seta, have designed the Print Avenue project. Completed in late 2012, the dark and dramatic room was designed for photo lab and print specialists Sabaté in Barcelona, Spain.

Print Avenue has been described as a vintage pavillion for Sabate. And according to the designers: “A wooden pallet board was printed with engravings of lettering from from a past century, we introduce ourselves, box by box, into a playful atmosphere.

“A hall, a waiting room and a reception, or if you prefer, a store with their desk and a printed catalogue penetrable coatings. All rhythmic under a unique aesthetic that makes nods to traditional strategy game, while decorative proposes a fresh strategy, sustainable and customisable: printing.”
