Contemporary Under the Moonlight House, Australia

Under the Moonlight House has been designed by Indonesia-based design studio Giovanni D’Ambrosio. The contemporary two-storey property can be found in Mount Hotham, Australia.

The shape of the contemporary Australian property resembles typological archetypes used by countrymen and cowboys that lived in the area. The materials used in the property include stone, wood and metal.

The House has been designed so the owners can enjoy all seasons to the maximum. This has been done through the use of many glazed frames that grant wider external views. This concept was part of the brief so that the interior and exterior could be enjoyed as one.

The contemporary Australian home is spread over two spacious floors. In ‘Under the Moonlight’ House there are two bedrooms, on the second floor, a master bedroom with bathroom and spa.

The contemporary property has been designed with care in order to prevent damage to local vegetation and trees. The roof is made of insulated metal and brings about with functionality of any climate and blends well with its natural surroundings. Images courtesy of Giovanni D’Ambrosio.
