Contemporary living by the Market project, Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona-based interior designers Egue & Seta have designed a contemporary home called Living by the Market project. Completed in 2012, the contemporary property can be found in Barcelona, Spain.

According to the designers: “Throughout history the configuration of a home has undergone changes from logical evolution of production to social habits of its inhabitants. However, this evolution stylistic level, far from being linear, has been punctuated by flashes of great stress or deep nostalgia innovation.

“This Santa Caterina property reflects how the contemporary trend is blurred, among others, the border between public and private spheres of the house.

“In the kitchen a large wooden dining table is the focal point. It’s decorated with green church candles and includes contemporary designed chairs. ”

The contemporary interior design of property is bright, airy and spacious. There are plenty of green plants around to make the property feel more homely. The main bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom, which has a very clinical feeling to it, which we love at Adelto.
