Contemporary Floating Home in the Lusatian Lake District, Germany

With urban enviroments getting busier with high-rise buildings and lack of space, Steeltec37 have designed the Aqua Floathome, located in Lusatian Lake District in Germany.

The architects state that on a “floating home” you can experience the feeling of freedom and that the idea was inspired by transparency, surrounded with nature in harmony and water. The home was designed with the shape of a sail, with the special curved roof, which gives a very modern look to the home. An unsinkable pontoon offers security and provides the basis for the dream – life in the water.
