Contemporary Chelsea Apartment, London
UK-based remote interior design studio The Design Fairy have renovated a British apartment. Completed in 2011, the 1859 sq ft contemporary apartment can be found in the Royal Borough of Chelsea and Kensington, London, England.
Completed for a private client, the residential interior design project was handled by Michelle Chasey of The Design Fairy.
Michelle told Adelto: “This is the perfect contemporary London apartment with two bedrooms and bathrooms; the design focused on creating the most of the two floor space to make it a comfortable living environment. The emphasis was on being light, bright and open.
“The double height space was maximised and taken advantage of through an open plan kitchen come dining come lounge / entertaining area. Light, silk soft furnishing and finishes were used throughout the design to further enhance a spacious and relaxing surrounding; with dark floors used to give the contemporary London apartment some solidarity.”
Founded in 2011, The Design Fairy specialise in interior design via a ‘remote service’. The virtual process works like this – you supply floor plans, photos and some information about what you want and The Design Fairy will then create a design solution which is personally tailored to your specific brief. Once complete, your design package will be delivered straight to your inbox (and front door) to enable you to create the perfectly designed space that you are looking for.
Have you used The Design Fairy? How did you find using a ‘remote service’ compared to a traditional interior design service? Join in the conversation we’re @Adelto.
