Big Bay Beach House with wow factor views of Cape Town coastline

Cape Town-based architects COA have joined forces with Stuttgart-based architectural practice Fuchs, Wacker Architekten to design the Big Bay Beach House project. Completed in 2012, the luxury beach property can be found in Cape Town, South Africa.

According to the architects: “Inspired by simple clean lines, this modern beach front home is designed to maximise the beach lifestyle and views, while enjoying the duality of the wind protected courtyard pool and garden.

“Focusing on passive design principles this house is also layered with an extensive sliding timber shutter system that allows the building to be manipulated to suit the changing sun and weather patterns.

“This luxury Cape Town property boasts extreme attention to detail and the minimalist approach to individual elements and quality craftsmanship have pushed the boundaries on every front of the building process.”

Adelto loves the interior design of the bathroom – especially the huge white bath – perfect for a soak after a long hard day at the office. The bedroom has been designed to maximise the fantastic views – who wouldn’t want to wake up to those views every morning!
