A Glamorous Regency Villa, London

Brook House has been renovated by London-based Oxford and London Building Consultancy who offer a boutique design and contracting service. The contemporary London property can be found in West London, England.

The 4-storey Regency London Villa is owned by a young professional couple.

The house had an imposing stucco façade but behind it was a 1960s interior comprising quarry tiles, narrow kitchen and an unsafe staircase It had lost most of its architectural features.

Substantial changes were made to the layout and décor by OLBC and their small experienced team.

Previous alterations were stripped out and all the important historical features like the plasterwork and architrave were restored and reinstated.  Every item and detail were carefully considered and planned by the team in advance of the installation to create a thoroughly modern home perfect for the 21st-century.  A substantial amount of the interiors was designed by OLBC.

Top of the list was a large kitchen, integrated dining area, new master suite and 3 additional bedrooms all with bathrooms – one of which was to be a private bathroom in a classical style solely for the wife’s use.  A study, library, media room and wine cellar were also a must.

The contemporary London property has a very glamorous theme to it.
